Anne Hutchison-

A

A mother of fifteen children who followed her Puritan pastor, John Cotton, to Massachusetts in 1634. She began to teach that outward obedience to the scriptures was unnecessary to demonstrate an inward relationship with God( a position called antinomianism). She believed that God had given her a revelation that superseded the bible.
