- Bauhaus style of design and architecture developed and the first Bauhaus exhibition attracted 15,000 visitors
- Produced greatest international star Marlene Dietrich and director Fritz Lang (golden age for cinema)

A
Improved relations with other countries to help Germany recover
- 1925 signed Locarno Treaties to not change boarders shared with French and Belgium
- 1926, cus of this Germany accepted into LON
- Reverse terms of TOV slowly
- Negotiate reparations (Dawes Plan/ Young Plan) and eastern frontiers
- Young plan - Lighten reparations, removal of British, French and Belgium troops from Rhineland

The econ boom increased inequality
- Value of land in Berlin increased by 700%
- Unemployment rose to 6% in 1928
- Those who lost the most were the middle class (farmers)
- Winners are the big businesses and town land owners
- Not enough demand for the increased production during war
- 1913 uni lecturer 10x more than coal miner
- 1920s uni lecturer 2x more than coal miner

Nazis and communists were building up their organisations
- 30% votes usually went to parties opposing Republic
- Nazis collaborated closely to appear more respectable
- New president in 1925 opposed democracy [Paul Von Hindenburg]
