what were you meant to catch out in these questions
1) appropriate s.f therefore prob 3
2) .says temperature decreases so (original temperature(specified higher up 300 K) - 5)
.asks for answer in cm^3, working’s give m^3 (m=100 cm, m^2= 10000 cm^2, m^3= 1000000 cm^3) so i would do “(ANS of working)*10^6”
if empirical formula with mass AlCl3 = 133 Mr and same compound with Mr 267 what is it’s molecular formula
267/133 = 2
2(AlCl3) = Al2Cl6
what should you do if Q says “Explain how this increases/decreased would affect this”
use the corresponding formulas to work it out (and the units in those formulas that might be affected- edited)
convert 1 dm^3 into { liter (L), cm^3 (cubic centimeters), mL (milliliters) }
1 liter (L), 1000 cm^3 (cubic centimeters), 1000 mL (milliliters)
