A
part time workers
- motivated by more pay
- loyalty to the company is not as high as core workers since they have insecure jobs

- part time : workers who work less than full time contracts
- home working : workers who work at home
- company does not need to rent more office space
- job sharing : employing two employees to perform one job . usually turn up for work at different days
*flexitime : where employees work a 40 hour week but choose the number of hours a day

what are the advantages of flexible work forces ?
A
- temporary staff are often cheaper to employ
- staff motivation my be improved because of more flexible hours
- saving costs in buying smaller sized head offices

what are the disadvantages of flexible work forces ?
A
- lower employee productivity
- periphery workers tend to have less loyalty
*communication can be poor

- employee earnings can change
