Chemical changes where bonds between atoms break and change places. The reactants are rearranged to form the products. They are hard to reverse
How would you describe the changes of state from solid to liquid?
When a solid is heated, the particles gain more energy, and they vibrate more, which weakens the force that holds them together. At a certain temperature, the particles have enough energy to break free from their fixed positions.
