Give the definition of ‘Industrial’ Revolution
“The word ‘revolution‘ denotes abrupt and radical change. Revolutions have occurred throughout history when new technologies and novel ways of perceiving the world trigger a profound change in economic systems and social structures. Given that history is used as a frame of reference, the abruptness of these changes may take years to unfold.
What is change ? What aspect are focused on ?
Social, cultural and economic changes over time are interconnected and often involve multiple agents:
individuals, local communities, governments, organizations, management and leadership, teams and individual employees
Change takes time to implement and to reach different “levels” Psychological and social impact on individuals alongside the
process of change in organizations
