Where is the placard located that indicates AT installation?
Located on either side of the center pedestal, states: “AUTOTHROTTLE INSTALLED. REFER TO AFM LIMITATIONS, FCOM 1&2 PRIOR TO USE”
What moves the thrust levers between the IDLE and TO detent?
The dual servo motor clutch pack (SMCP)
Where are the AT ENGAGE switches located?
On the aft side of the thrust levers.
Where is the active mode shown on the FMA?
The active mode is on the top row and can be either green or amber.
What is the aural alert when the AT is automatically disengaged?
The dual aural alert “AUTOTHROTTLE, AUTOTHROTTLE” sounds continuously
What is the AT mode when there is no active FD vertical mode and the AT is engaged?
SPD mode
When HOLD mode is active in what position do the thrust levers remain?
TO position
What position are the thrust levers commanded to when THRUST becomes active and the selected altitude is below the current altitude?
IDLE position
What indications appear if an engine failure occurs while the AT is engaged?
The AT automatically disengages with a continuous flashing amber AT status on the FMA and aural alert “AUTOTHROTTLE AUTOTHROTTLE”

Prior to 200 ft AGL
