The best terroirs are on the right bank of the Serein, where the Grand Cru vineyards are located. The left bank of the river also has excellent sites, including the Premier Cru vineyards of Montmains and Côte de Lechet.

Chablis Premier Cru: Can be enjoyed between five and ten years of age
