- Must only be against laws that are seriously harmful

Executive/Legislative-makes and administers the laws/regulations
Judicial-administers the court/interprets laws
What is the difference between a PM and a premier?
PM is for federal, premier is for provincal

PMO is the PM’s advisors and staffers and PCO is what the PM uses to schedule cabinet meetings

4-Report Stage-reported back to HOC
5-Third Reading-final chance to review bill
6-Senate-goes through 3 more readings here
7-Royal Assent-given by GG to officially become a law
Advantages to a Majority Gov.

- Bill is guaranteed to pass
Why would the GG prorogue Parliament?
To get out of a certain situation
Why would the GG dissolve parliament?
Happens when there is a vote of non-confidence, or PM wants to call a general election (usually at the end of his 5-yr term)
