- EPCL- Pull down and advance full forward while maintaining downward pressure, then adjust to set NR as required
EMER APU START

APU start to accomplish an emergency procedure.

- FUEL PUMP switch - APU BOOST
- APU CONT switch - ON
AFTER EMERGENCY ACTION
After a malfunction of equipment has occured
SINGLE ENGINE FAILURE

Collective - Adjust to maintain NR
(2) . EXTERNAL CARGO/STORES - JETTISON (IF REQUIRED) - ESTABLISH SINGLE ENGINE AIRSPEED
If continued flight is not possible:
- LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
If continued flight is possible:
- LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
DUAL ENGINE FAILURE
AUTOROTATE.
DECREASING NR
- Collective - Adjust to control NR
- 1 ESTABLISH SINGLE-ENG AIRSPEED
If single engine flight cannot be achieved or maintained:
- EPCL (LOW Q/TGT TEMP ENGINE) - LOCKOUT. Maintain Q approximately 10% below other engine.
- LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
INCREASING NR
(1) . EPCL (HIGH Q/TGT TEMP ENGINE) - RETARD. Maintain Q approximately 10% below other engine.
2. LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
If the affected engine does not respond to EPCL movement in the range between FLY and IDLE, the HMU may be malfunctioning internally.
If this occurs:

Establish single engine airspeed.
(4) . Perform EMER ENG SHUTDOWN (AFFECTED ENGINE)
(5) . Refer to single-engine failure emergency procedure.
NP INCREASING/DECREASING (OSCILLATION)
BMU w. CL ✔
- Slowly retard the EPCL on the suspected engine.
If the oscillation stops:
- Place that engine in LOCKOUT and manually control the power.“
- LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
If the oscillation continues:
- Place the ENG POWER CONT lever back to FLY and retard the ENG POWER CONT lever of the other engine.
When the oscillation stops:
- Place the engine in LOCKOUT, manually control the power.
- LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
ENGINE COMPRESSOR STALL
- COLLECTIVE - REDUCE
If condition persists:
- EPCL (AFFECTED ENGINE) - RETARD
- ENG POWER CONT lever (affected engine) - FLY.
If stall condition recurs:
- ESTABLISH SINGLE-ENG AIRSPEED
- EMERGENCY ENG SHUTDOWN (AFFECTED ENGINE)
- Refer to single-engine failure emergency procedure
CHIP #1 ENG OR CHIP #2 ENG, #1 ENG OIL PRESS OR #2 ENG OIL PRESS, #1 ENG OIL TEMP OR #2 ENG OIL TEMP CAUTION APPEARS.
