Stress

Eustress
Taking out ones frustrations on someone of stress that people need to promote health & well being
Displaced aggression
Conflict occurring when a person must choose between two desirable goals.
Approach - approach conflict
Conflict occurring when a person must choose between two undesirable goals
Avoidance - avoidance conflict
Conflict occurring when a person must choose a goal that has both positive and negative aspects.

general adaptation syndrome(GAS
The system of cells, organs, and chemicals of the body that responds to attacks from diseases, infections & injuries.
Immune system
Disease involving failure of the pancreas to secrete enough insulin, necessitating medication usually diagnosed before the age 40 & can be associated with obesity
Type 2 diabetes
Person who is ambitious, time conscious extremely hard working and tends to have high levels of hostility & anger as well as being easily annoyed.
Type a personality
Person who is relaxed and laid back , less driven & less competitive than type A & slow to anger
Type B personality
Pleasant but repressed, person who tends to internalize his or her anger and anxiety and who finds expressing emotions difficult
Type C personality
Hormone that is secreted by the pancreas to control the levels of fats proteins & carbohydrates in the body by increasing the level of glucose in the bloodstream
Glucagon
A hormone secreted by the pancreas to control the levels of fats proteins
Insulin
Actions that people can take to master, to tolerate, reduce or minimize the effects of stressors
Coping strategies
Changing ones behavior to match that of other people
Conformity
Changing ones behavior as a result of other people directing or asking for the change
Compliance
That person should do something for the other in return
Norm of reciprocity
A process in which individuals escalate their commitment to a course of action in order to justify their investment in it
