steps of finding the empirical formula

A

1) find/use the given percent composition of each element in the compound
2) find the molar mass of each element and multiply it by the given/found percent composition
3) afterward choose the answer that’s not the greasts or least but in the middle… so like the median ig
4) use it to divide each result we got from each element
5) multiply the answer from the previous step by 1 2 and 3 or like ig the number of element in the compound
6) lastly ig take the greatest answer as a subscript and multiply it to each element
