Demeter, one of the Gods took a bite of his sons shoulder. His punishment was everlasting hunger and thirst by being submerged in water with fruit hanging overhead.

the waters of Lethe; to drink from the waters of lethe means to become forgetful.

best known Hero, a very strong man who was able t defeat any enemy and to kill any monster. In a fit of rage he accidentally killed one of his children and as punishment had to perform Twelve Labors.
