Subset

A

A group within the universal set or within its self

EVERY SET IS A SUBSET OF ITSELF

The sign for subset is a “C” w longer extenders

Q

Complement of a set

A

Everything that is the opposite to a set

The sign is the letter of the set w a line ontop or “A’ “

(Ex. The complement of a set A is the set of all elements in the universal set that are not in set A).

Q

Belongs to element of sign

A

Side ways C w a line in the middle making it kinda look like an E

( mix between E and a C)

17
Q

Complement

A

Means not “A”

The opposite of the set

18
Q

“Only”

A

The number that is only in a particular set and nothing else.

Ex. Who watched only rebel?
11 people watched perfect rebel.
8 people watched rebel and other movies.
So 3 people only watched rebel.
