Demography
the study of statistics such as births, deaths, income, or the incidence of disease, which illustrate the changing structure of human populations.
Age Structure
The composition of a population in terms of the proportions of individuals of different ages
Survivorship
the state or condition of being a survivor; survival.
Fertility Rate
the number of children born alive to women of that age during the year as a proportion of the average annual population of women of the same age
Migration
seasonal movement of animals from one region to another.
Life Expectancy
the average period that a person may expect to live
Demographic Transition
long-term trend of declining birth and death rates
Infrastucture
the basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g. buildings, roads, power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise.
Arable Land
land fit or used for the growing of crops
Urbanization
the process of making an area more urban
Least Developed Countries
Countries that show few signs of development and have increasing death rates and high death rates
