CH. 9 Is The Existence of God Testable? Flashcards

1
Q

What does it mean to say that a hypothesis is falsifiable? Does this mean it is false? Is the hypothesis that organisms contain genes falsifiable?

A

A hypothesis is falsifiable doesn’t mean it is false, rather, the hypothesis should be able to give at least one possible observation. The hypothesis that organisms contain genes is not falsifiable.
