Woman could vote, woman recieved better working conditions, and after world war one they took over the masculine jobs with ease, displaying higher respect from the nation
What was Teddy’s role as a trust buster?
He started filing suits under the Sherman Anti Trust Act and monopolies were disappearing
How did Teddy change the role of President in USA?
HIs leadership and publicity campaigns made him different from past leaders
What happens to the Republican party with Taft?
They were split between progressives and conservatives.

-protect social welfare -promote moral improvement -create economic reform -foster efficiency
What was the suffrage movement like under Wilson’s presidency?
He was not interested in supporting the women but after a plethora of protests women finally had the right to vote

How were big businesses forced to change?
People were writing about an uneven balance among big business, gov, and ordinary people. There were strikes over better working conditions rose. Unions were built for socialism!
What were some of Teddy’s reforms/ conservation efforts?
He started the Meat Inspection Act, Pure Food and Drug Act, and set aside millions of acres aside for reservation
