What is the 1st noun rule?
Stems ending in α or η are in the 1st declension, stems ending in o are in the second, and consonantal stems in are the 3rd
What is the 2nd noun rule?
Every neuter word has the same form in the nominative and accusative, e.g. ν for sg, α for pl
What is the 3rd noun rule?
Almost all neuter words end in α in the nominative and accusative PLURAL
