It is very wrong unless it is done as a medical procedure to save the mother’s life. This backed up by many medical facts
What does the Church teach about artificial conception?
The Church believes that children should be created naturally and has sympathy for those who can not have children. The Church also encourages research that increases chances of natural conception for these families.
What does the Church teach about prenatal testing?
Prenatal testing is perfectly fine as long as no harm comes to the mother or the baby.
