Advantages of federalist system
Checks the growth of tyranny allows unity without uniformity encourages experimentation provides training for future leaders keeps government closer to the people
Disadvantages of federalist system
Divided power results in slow response difficulty holding elected officials accountable lack of uniformity leads to conflict variation and redundancy and policies creating and inefficiencies
