- What is squamous epithelial? what’s it’s function?
A: flat, irregularly shaped cells. They line the heart, and blood and lymphatic vessels, body cavities, and alveoli (air sacs) of the lungs.

A: Sebaceous glands produce oil called sebum that moves up hair follicles to the surface of the skin, where the oil lubricates skin and hair.
