Polar orbiting- low earth orbit (clear but not 1 place at the same time)
Geostationary orbit- typically used, higher orbit and same place on earth

A

Visible- measures reflected solar radiation with visible light
Infrared- Measures emitted radiation and all objects emit radiation through temperature
Water Vapor- Radiation emitted from only water vapor
