What should you do when trying to understand a German sentence?
First, locate the verb of each clause. Check for it in the second position and at the end (position 4.) The subject will usually be towards the beginning of the clause.
Where is “man” found in a clause?
It will always be the subject of a clause. Not to be confused with “der Mann.”
