Justinian (juh-STIN-ee-uhn), an emperor who ruled from 527 to 565, reuniting the old Roman Empire was passion. His armies conquered Italy and much land around the Mediterranean
Theodora
Theodore (thee-uh-DOHR-uh) convinced him to stay and fight. Taking her advise Justinian crushed the riots.
Byzantine Empire
