An Italian mathematician that constructed the telescope that supported the theory of the sun centering the solar system.

In English mathematician famous for laws of gravitation and developed the rules of modern science.

A French philosopher known as the father of modern philosophy for defining a starting point of modern life.
Renè Descartes
The contribution of Greek Jewish Muslim and Renaissance scholars to the scientific revolution
These people were very important from all over the place because they started a foundation for modern science.
Explain the importance of the scientific method and how it was impacted the way we study the world.
They used to just guess and say it was right and with the scientific method people experimented and decided things from trial and error rather than just guessing.

Argued that government has a responsibility to protect the natural rights. The government has the power to punish people who break laws but these punishment should be for the public good.

Argued that government power should be divided he suggested dividing the powers of the government into the three different branches and had to do with checks and balances.

Believe people should choose their own thoughts on religion thought they needed tolerance because of religious wars.

Wrote a book about women’s rights that was the first major work of feminism.

Thought the best way for a nation to become wealthy was to allow free trade countries benefit from government not blocking trade
