Q

For a Level 2 runway length/width what conditions must be met?

A

3500x60

The PIC may reduce the runway length and width to the minimum indicated in this
level as long as all of the following additional conditions are met at the airfield:
 Day (sunrise to sunset)
 Dry runway
 VMC (1,000/3, unless higher minimums are listed in individual airport
restrictions)
 Crosswind component of 15 knots or less
 Wind gust factor (recorded gust minus steady-state wind) not more than 10
knots
 No recent reports (<15 min) of low-level wind shear at the field
 For 91 operations, the aircraft must be able to land within 80% of the effective
landing distance available.
