Purpose of a Catholic Church

What is a saint
A saint is a baptised person because they say god lives with them, they all share the gift that god gives them
4 steps to become a saint
recognising the person as a servent of god
B. Called venerable which means worthy of deep respect
C. called beatification the have the title of blessed.
D. Canonisation, being close to god, called a saint
Why do people pray to saints
Because of their closeness with god
