Can an IPC be completed in a Simulator?
Some tasks can, but NOT all

Which Endorsement will you give after the succesful completion of an IPC?
A.67 (61.57(d))
Do you need to do anything if the Learner does not pass the IPC?
No, additional training is required & it can be logged as Dual Given
What are you required to have in order to give an IPC?
- Hold an instrument rating on BOTH your Pilot & Flight Instructor Certificate
- Certificate must be appropriate Category, Class, & Type if required.
- Pilot & Flight Instructor Certs must be Current
What recourses will you use in order to organize an IPC & a Plan of Action?
- AC 61-98
- Instrument ACS
At what point would a pilot be required to receive an IPC?
After their 6 month grace period has elapsed without gaining currency with a Safety Pilot
FAR 61.57
Its a good idea for a pilot to get an IPC at least once per year regardless of their currency status.
What are the exceptions regarding IFR currency?
A Pilot actively employed at a 121, 135 operation is exempt from currency requirements ONLY while operating for that company.
* Pilot is not considered current for operations outside of that company unless they have met the 66 HITs.

When can a CFII log an IAP when giving Instrument (Hood) instruction?
Only when the approach is done in Actual IMC
