Do you think chiro manipulation causes stroke, please explain?

A

It was probably already going to occur, although the chiropractic may have contributed to the VAD. Therefore chiro may be at fault if a proper history and physical exam was not taken

A

Less blood supply to brain. If patient was to have VAD, more chance of larger impact. One artery can still bring enough blood

  1. Failure to recognise and document the event
  2. Failure to monitor and document the patient following onset of problems
