25 to 49 = every 3 years
50 to 64 = every 5 years
65 or older = only if 1 of your last 3 tests was abnormal

Screening
Abnormal PV bleeding, usually postcoital

How is cervical Ca investigated ?
Screening
Chlamydia screen
Colposcopy + biopsy
Staging
- Cystoscopy + Protosigmoidoscopy (rule out invasion of bladder/colon)
- CXR
- CT
- MRI
- PET
- Bloods
Outline how cervical Ca is managed
Very early stage = large loop excision of the transformation zone, cone biopsy
Early stage = surgery to remove the cervix + some/all of the womb, +/- RT
Advanced = RT, +/- chemo, +/- surgery
