Cert of Registry
46 USC 3303, a foreign vessel of a country
having inspection laws and standards similar to
those of the United States and that has an unexpired certificate of inspection issued by proper authority of its respective country, is subject to an inspection to ensure that the condition of the
vessel is as stated in its current certificate of inspection.
Class Society Cert
SOLAS I/6(a), the inspection and the survey of ships shall be carried out by officers of the administration
International Tonnage Cert (ITC)
ICTM 69 Articles 7, 9, 10, shall be issued to every ship, the gross and net tonnages of which have been determined in accordance with the present Convention.
The certificate shall be drawn up in the official language or languages of the issuing country. If the language used is neither English nor French, the text shall include a translation into one of these languages.
Shall cease to be valid and shall be cancelled by the Administration if alterations have taken place in arrangement…shall cease to be valid upon transfer of such a ship to the flag of another State, shall remain in force for a period not exceeding three months, or until the Administration issues another International Tonnage Certificate.
International Load Line Cert (ILLC)
ICLL 15, 16, 18, 19, shall be issued to every ship which has been surveyed and marked in accordance with the present Convention, shall be issued to any ship to which an exemption has been granted, english or french.
Issued not exceeding 5 years.
Cargo Ship Safety Construction Cert (CSSCC)
SOLAS I/12 (a)(ii), I/16, 10, 14, 15, issued after an initial or renewal survey to a cargo ship which complies to II-1 and II-2.
Readily available onboard at all times. Renewal every 5 years for a cargo ship, every 12 months for a passenger vessel. English or French.
Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Cert (CSSEC) w/ Record of Equipment (Form-E)
SOLAS I/12 (a)(iii), I/16, 8, 14, 15, issued after an initial or renewal survey to cargo ship which complies with II-1, II-2, III, and V. LSA of cargo ships 500 gross tons and upwards are subject to surveys. Renewal every 5 years for a cargo ship, every 12 months for a passenger vessel. English or French.
Cargo Ship Safety Radio Cert (CSSRC) w/ Record of Equipment (Form-R)
SOLAS I/12 (a)(iv), I/16, 9, 14, 15, issued after an initial or renewal survey to a cargo ship which complies with IV. Radio installations, including in LSA, III and IV apply, are subject to survey. Renewal every 5 years for a cargo ship, every 12 months for a passenger vessel. English or French.
Cargo Ship Safety Cert (CSSC) w/ Record of Equipment (Form-C)
SOLAS I/12 (a)(v), I/16, 8-10, 14, 15, issued after an initial or renewal survey to a cargo ship which complies with II-1, II-2, III, IV, V as an alternate to ii, iii, iv.
Copy of Document of Compliance (ISM-DOC)
SOLAS IX/4.2, IX/5 ; ISM 13.2-6, 16 ; 33 CFR 96.330, kept onboard to produce upon request. Person/company which, owns a U.S. vessel engaged on foreign voyages, carrying more than 12 passengers, or is a tanker, bulk freight vessel, freight vessel, or a self-propelled mobile offshore drilling unit of 500 gross tons or more. Safety management system shall be maintained with ISM Code.
Safety Management Cert (ISM-SMC)
