Normale: 8 months min in Oak or Chestnut. Riserva: 12 months min in Oak or Chestnut.

What are the aging requirements for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Normale?
24 months minimum aging. Producers have three options: (1) 24 months in wood. (2) 18 months in wood + 6 months ‘other’. (3) 12 months in wood, + 6 months ‘other’, + 6 months bottle. What can other can include? glass pipes, concrete vessels, steel, etc.?
In Suvereto DOCG, what varietals are allowed to be varietally labeled?
Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot. Sangiovese. 85% (EU) rule applies.

Bianco Pignolleto (85%), Bianco Passerina (85%), and Rosso (85% min Montepulciano)
Hard: What are the differences between Conero DOCG & Offida Rosso DOCG?
Both are 85% min Montepulciano. Only other varietal allowed in Conero is Sangiovese. Offida allows other non-aromatic reds. ABV are different: Offida (12.5%), Conero (13%). Aging is different both are 24 months min aging, but Offida requires 12 months in wood, and 3 months in bottle, Conero has no specifics. Max Yields are different too 9 tons/ha for Conero, 8.5 tons/ha for Offida, but I don’t think this is important.

Sparklnig red only! 85% Vernaccia Nero (40% must be dried first). The wines can be either Secco, or Dolce.

18 months min aging. 6 months min in bottle.

Still dry reds only. 85% min Vernaccia Nera. Same boundaries as Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG. The DOCG is for sparkling wines, the DOC is for still wines.
