List homecare and advice you would give your client after a cellulite RX:

List contraindications to a thermal body wrap and explain why:
- poor circulation
- claustrophobic
- diabetes

It’s in advisable to raise the core temperature of someone with adrenal suppression, systemic lupus, erythematous, and multiple sclerosis

Why are women predisposed to cellulite?
To support pregnancy and lactation
Stage 1 cellulite:
#1 mild form of cellulite - when preforming the “pinch test” skin appears dimpled
Stage 2 cellulite:
Medium stage
- even if relaxed, the skin has an “orange peel” appearance
Stage 3 cellulite:
Severe form of cellulite
- clearly visible “mattress appearance”
What system when stimulated will help to reduce cellulite?

How does massage help reduce the appearance of cellulite?
- stimulates circulation
- improves connective tissue
What’s the difference between cellulite in men vs women
With men the connective tissue holds a tighter grip, whereas in women cellulite is programmed to stretch, showing up on the skins surface easier.
Seatonic firming wrap steps:
- have client laying on their back
- start exfoliating legs while bent
- rinse, dry with towel
- work up abs, décolleté, arms
- have client sit up, exfoliate back
- apply sea tonic mask to back
- lay client down, continue front upper body
- complete mask front & back of legs
- wrap client in foil for 15 min
- while client is wrapped, massage shoulders and décolleté
- after 15 min, massage your way down to abs, than legs
- have client roll over than massage on legs and back
Firming sculpting wrap steps:
- have client sitting up and exfoliate on back, rinse off
- continue exfoliating front, upper body, décolleté, arms
- have client bend leg and complete exfoliation on legs, rinse, dry with towel
- apply self-heating mud pack to clients upper thigh, wrap for 15 min
- massage upper body, shoulders, décolleté, and arms with bio-tone
- remove mask with spatula, cleanse with warm towel
- massage front of legs
- have client roll over, continue massage on thighs
- massage back, remove any excess bio-tone with dry towel

Homecare for body treatments:
- drink plenty of cups of water (6-8 cups)
- avoid any alcohol for 24/h
- avoid any forms of heat (hot tubs, saunas) for atleast 24/h
- avoid UV exposure (many are photosensitive)
