Cells
In biology, the smallest unit that can preform all life processes
Stem Cells
Unspecialized cells that are able to develop into many different types of cells
Cell Differentiation
The process where cells become different types of cells
Tissue
A group of similar cells that perform a common function
Organ
A collection of tissues that carry out a specialized function of the body
Organ System
A group or organs that work together to preform body functions
Organism
A living thing
Homeostasis
Steady internal conditions when external conditions change
Excretory System
Removes solid, liquid, and gas waste materials from the body
Respiratory System
Exchanges gases between the body and the environment
Circulatory System
It transports gases, nutrients, waste, and other substances through out the body.
Lymphatic System
Removes excess fluid from around organs, produces white blood cells, and absorbs and transports fats.
Immunity
The resistances to specific pathogen or disease-causing agents.
Skeletal System
Protects internal organs, provides support, helps the body move, and stores mineral
Muscular System
Helps the body move.
