What are the 2 main cell categories?

A

Eukaryotic - Any cell that has a nucleus. E.G. Plant/animal cells.

Prokaryotic - A cell that hasn’t got a nucleus. E.G. Bacteria.

Nucleus

A

Contains DNA which carries the genetic code for making enzymes and other proteins used in chemical reactions such as photosynthesis and respiration.

A

Made from cellulose fibres. Strengthens the cell and supports the plant.

A
