where does fungi live?
decaying surfaces or living tissue

either single celled or multicelled

they are single celled.
how many cells in bacteria?
single celled
where do viruses live?
inside other living cells
are there any good viruses?
no, they are all bad/unhelpful.
is bacteria always bad?
no, there are some good bacteria like the ones in your gut.
types of fungi?
yeast, mushrooms, mould
what does fungi do to cells?
invade cells and absorb their nutrients
what do protozoa do?
absorb nutrients from surroundings.
how does bacteria reproduce, and how fast is it?
divide into seperate cells - very quickly when in the right conditions.
can viruses reproduce by themselves?
no, they use other living cells to do it.
what is MRSGREN?
the characteristics of a living thing -
Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion, Nutrition.
