Cells Flashcards
What do animal cells have?
Nucleus, cell membrane and cytoplasm
What does a plant cell have?
Nucleus, cell membrane, cytoplasm, cell walls, vacuoles and chloroplasts!
What do you times by each other to get the total magnification?
Eyepiece magnification times by objective magnification!
What is a tissue?
A group of same cells working together to do a job!!!
Where is a ciliates epithelial cell found?
An epithelial cell is found in the lungs and are used to sweep dirt out of the air passages!
What is a flagellum and what does it do?
A unicellular organism. It allows it to move towards the light!
What is a animal cell?
A cell of an animal
What is a contractile vacuole and what does it is?
A contractile vacuole is a part of a unicellular organism that removes water and waste!
What is a eye spot and what does it do?
Part of a unicellular organism which detects light!
What does a Euglena have in it?
A chloroplast, cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, contractile vacuole, eye spot and a flagellum! Wow that’s a lot !!!!
What does a AMOEBA have and what type of cell is it
An AMOEBA is a unicellular organism that has food vacuoles, contractile vacuoles, a nucleus, a cell membrane, cytoplasm and a pseudopod!!! Wow is that even more than a euglena! NOPE!
What is binary fission?
A way how one cell can copy itself!
What is a pesudopod and what does it do?
A pseudopod is in a Amoeba and it is how the it moves!
What is
MRS GREN?
