What is the canadian electrical code
A
- A written standard covering the installation & maintenance of electrical equipment in Canada
- It is the copyrighted property of and is published by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
- Also referred to as the CEC, CE Code or CSA C22.1, it was first published in 1927.
- The latest revision is the 22nd edition published in 2012.
- A new edition is released every three years.
- American equivalent is the NEC (National Electrical Code)
