Tank, Straps, Gaskets, Cap with Rubber Seal, Fuel Line
None are LMD
Fuel Tank is not dented or leaking
Tank and straps are secured to frame with no missing N/B
Straps are centered on gaskets
Gaskets are not dry rotted
Fuel cap is tight and rubber seal is not dry rotted
Fuel line is tight, not cracked, not leaking
Steps
Not LMD
Mounted securely with no missing N/B
No debris, clear of objects
Leaks (Look for puddles under engine)
HEAD + P
Hydraulic Fluid, Engine Oil, Antifreeze, Diesel Fuel, Power Steering Fluid
None visible
Oil Dipstick
Dipstick, Tube
Pull dipstick out, clean it, insert it back.
Take it out again and check that it is
Above refill mark, within safe operating range
Not LMD, not bent, secured to engine
Water Pump
Not LMD, operating properly
Mounted securely to engine with no missing N/B
Not leaking, GEAR DRIVEN
WATER PUMP HOSE
Not LMD
Not dry rotted, not leaking
Clamps are in place and tight
ALTERNATOR
Not LMD, not CBB, Operating Properly
Mounted securely to engine with no missing N/B
ELECTRICAL LINES
Not LMD, no expose wires
Not frayed, spliced, corroded, chafed or worn
ALTERNATOR & FAN BELT
Not LMD
Not frayed or dry rotted; no cracks
Less than 3/4” play from middle… MUST DEMONSTRATE
COOLANT RESERVOIR
Not LMD
Mounted securely with no missing N/B
Not Leaking, has room at top for expansion. DO NOT REMOVE CAP WHILE HOT
LEVEL IS VISABLE
AIR COMPRESSOR
Not LMD, not CBB, Operating properly
Mounted securely to engine with no missing N/B

SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Spring Mount, Leaf Spring, U-Bolts, Shock Absorber, Spring Hinge
All Not LMD
Spring mounts are mounted securely to frame with no missing N/B, not CBB
Springs not CBB; not shifted or misaligned; none missing and same on both sides
U-Bolts secured with no missing nuts
Shock Absorber mounted securely to frame with no missing N/B. Rubber bushings in place and not dry rotted.
Spring hinge fully greased
STEERING SYSTEM
Steering Shaft, U-Joints, Power Steering Gearbox, Pitman Arm, Drag link, Steering Ring Knuckle, Spindle, Steering Arm, Tie Rod
All not LMD, notCBB, joints not worn
All connected to each other with no missing N/B
U-Joints free of debris, fully greased
PS Gearbox mounted securely to frame with no missing N/B, not leaking
No missing Castle Nuts or Cotter Pins
Rubber boots not dry rotted
AIR BRAKE SYSTEM
Air brake chamber, Chamber hose, Push rod, Slack adjuster, Linings, Drum, Brackets, Couplings
All not LMD
Air Brake Chamber mounted securely to brackets with no missingN/B not dented or leaking
Chamber Hose not cracked, worn or leaking; Couplings not worn
Push Rod not bent
Slack Adjuster has less than 1” of play when brakes released
Must be corrected by certified Mechanic
Linings not worn dangerously thin
Drums free of grease and oil; illegal welds;no dents holes or missing N/B
Tires and Rims
Rim, Bead, Side and top of tire, Inside/Outside, Valve Stem, Lug Nuts
All not LMD
Rim no illegal welds, no cracks, not bent
Bead is sealed and not leaking
Side of tire has no cuts, cords, gouges, bulges, no spiderwebs or dry rot
No mismatched tires, no retreads, no uneven wear, at least 4/32” of tread
Each lug nuts is tight; no rust trails or metal shavings that would indicate looseness, Lugs nuts not cracked or distorted (Must touch each lug nut)
Valve Stem, metal and pointed away from tire, not leaking, not broken or damaged
Inflated to 95-105 PSI, checked with tire gauge in vehicle
HUB & SEAL
Not LMD
No missing N/B, full of grease and not leaking
MIRRORS ON DRIVER DOOR
Not LMD
Mounted securely to door with no missing N/B
Clean and not cracked
Brackets not damaged
DOOR
Opens and closes from outside
Hinges are greased and secured with no missing N/B
Weather seals intact
ABC RATED FIRE EXTINGUISHER
Fully charged, needle in green
STEPS ON BATTERY BOX, STEPS ON FUEL TANK, CATWALK
Can be checked same as steps on other side
