No obstruction around or behind with a rubber or anti slip surface with a working return spring, (firm and does not touch the floor)
Clutch Pedal
No obstruction around or behind with a rubber or anti slip surface with a working return spring (minimum free play 1” to max 1 1/2”
Fuel Pedal
No obstruction around or behind with a rubber or anti slip surface with a working return spring, (does not stick
Horns

Emergency equipment
1 fire extinguisher: secured, fully charge, pin in place. Minimum 10 BC and up to date
2 reflective triangles: 3 that stand on their own
3 spare fuses 1 for every type and size equipped in vehicle
4 seat belt: secured, no cuts or tears not frayed, latches and unlatches
Steer tires
1 no recaps
- At least 4/32 in every major groove
- Proper air pressure 90-100 psi or manufactured specs

Driver’s side ( safety inspection sticker)
Passenger side ( S.O.S insurance verification)
From the top
- Park on level ground and or chock the wheels
- Build air pressure 100-125 psi or manufactured specifications.
- Put truck in low gear
- Shut truck off
- Release clutch
- Release all brakes
- Let air pressure stabilize 12-15 seconds
Static
- Foot off brake pedal
- Cannot lose more than 3psi per minute in a combination vehicle (2 psi single)
- checking emergency side of system for leaks
Applied
- Foot firmly on brake pedal
- Cannot lose more than 4psi in one minute in a combination vehicle (3psi single)
- Checking emergency and service side of system for leaks
Fan-1 (electrical low air pressure warning light and or buzzer)
- (Engine off/ key on)
2. Fan brakes down, a light and or a buzzer should come on by 60 psi or before
Fan 2- (pop out valve test) check T.P.V (tractor protection valve)
- Continue fanning down
- 20-45 psi trailer air supply should pop out first, applying trailer spring brakes (to prevent a jack-knife)
- 20-40 psi parking brake will come on
Governor
- CUT IN 100 psi or below
