What is DSRM?
Directory Services Restore Mode (Keep this password when installing AD) -
recover deleted objects, repair AD, or to restore
allows you to boot into a special version of Directory Services Restore Mode.
Where is the Database folder location?
C:\Windows\NTDS - it is recommended to make this location point to a different drive so the C drive doesn’t get filled up but doesn’t have to be.
Where is the Log Files Folder location?

How does a users domain credentials get found in AD?
Through DNS.. Location - DNS > ph.local > sites > tcp
What is LDAP
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol - This is in DNS and how it finds the domain controllers.
What is Kerberos?
Kerberos is an authentication protocol that is used to verify the identity of a user or host on a network
What does a -WhatIf do at the end of a powershell command?
It gives you results if the command was successful or not before actually running the command without a -WhatIf
