The pancreas does not produce enough or any Insulin.

Body does not respond to insulin?
How do we treat Type 1 Diabetes?
Inject insulin to control blood glucose levels.

Lifestyle a s diet changes?
What happens to blood glucose levels in the body when insulin is released?
Decrease. As glucose is converted to glycogen.
What happens to blood glucose levels in the body when food is consumed.
Increase.

Homeostasis is the process that allows our body to maintain a constant internal environment. (Keep conditions the same inside body)
