What is the ‘When Questioned’ caution?
You do not have to say anything.
But it may harm your defence, if you do not mention something WHEN QUESTIONED, which you later rely on in court.
Anything you do say may be given in evidence.

You do not have to say anything.
But it may harm your defence, if you do not mention something now, which you later rely on in court.

What is part one of the caution explanation?
IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO.
What is part two of the caution explanation?
IF THERE IS SOMETHING YOU DO NOT TELL US NOW, BUT YOU LATER DECIDE TO TELL A COURT, THEN THE COURT MAY BE LESS WILLING TO BELIEVE YOU.
