A

US congressman and liked the Kansas-Nebraska act, leader of the Jayhawkers, led many attacks against antislavery. leads Lanes army of the North which is about 400 people and he tries to get Kansas to be free.

A

Dred Scott was a slave who attempted to sue for freedom, his attempt was shut down by the Supreme Court because slaves were considered property. Its unconstitutional for the U.S court to prohibit slavery in any territory, everywhere can have slavery.

John Brown led the raid on Harpers Ferry, he wanted the weapons on the ferry so that we could arm slaves to fight in a revolt, the result was that John Brown was caught by the U.S marines and he was charged with treason then hanged.

What happened at fort sumter in South Carolina?
What happened is that South Carolina seceded from the United States and this is significant because they were the first state to do that and started the confederate union. An attack from the confederacy, first step for the civil war and the confederates won.
