King James I wanted to make Ireland loyal, Protestant and British.

English and Scottish people were offered cheap land to go to Ireland.

Irish lost their land and were charged a higher rent for it.
What did the Irish become, what was their name now, and who did they attack?
Irish became outlaws, were now called Woodkerne, and attacked the English and Scottish.
What language did everyone speak before the Plantation, what do they speak now and what was the population of Ireland like now?
Before the Plantation, everyone spoke Gaelic Irish, now English is widely spoken. Population in Ireland was now mixed with Protestants and Catholics.
What country do towns and villages look like and how?
Towns and villages looked more like England with fewer forests and fenced-off fields.
