A

Contains the 10 commandments - basic guidelines for Catholics, helping them to know what they should and shouldn’t do
Reveals the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus - “Gave up his life for a ransom for many” (Bible) - helps Catholics to understand the place of salvation in their lives

A

Highest authority for Catholics - “The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the magisterium” (CCC) - makes sure that there isn’t any conflict
Gives answers to Catholics to issues that didn’t exist during the apostles’ time - some don’t know what to do about IVF

A

Focuses on the relationship between tradition and the Bible
Tradition and Scripture should be used to help understand God’s revelation
The Bible should be read taking the culture of the writers and different types of writings
