Anointing

The belief that the bread and wine during Mass becomes the body and blood of Christ

Sometimes known as confession - the sacrament where sins are forgiven
Total immersion
Baptism when the person being baptised goes fully underwater

God’s love for us
Denomination
The name for the different types of Christian - Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, etc
Eucharist
The word means ‘thanksgiving’ and Is the name given to the mass or holy communion
Believers Baptism
The idea that baptism is not for infants but for people that can make their own choice to be baptised
Penance
Any act or a set of actions done out of repentance for sins committed
Absolution
A pronouncement of the forgiveness of sins
Matrimony
The formal name for the sacrament of marriage
Holy Orders
The sacrament for those who become priests
