What are the maximum nose gear and main wheel speeds?
Nose wheel: 139 KTS
Mains: 174 KTS
What is the max and alternate max takeoff weight?
164K/175K
What is the max recommended landing weight and sink rate?
162,286, 540ft/m
What is the normal landing weight and sink rate?
164K, 300ft/m
What is the max alternate weight and sink rate?
175K, 300ft/m
What is the GCAS/TAWS Alert recovery?
GCAS/TAWS Pull Up Alert Recovery.
1. Set TAKEOFF power and level the wings.
2. Pitch immediately to 15 degrees nose up, then adjust pitch to maintain approximately 10 knots above the stall warning caret.
(If at high airspeed, ensure G limit is not exceeded.)
NOTE
When in visual conditions, establishing a pitch attitude in the HUD, where the climb dive marker is above the terrain/obstacle, will ensure terrain/obstacle clearance.
3. The pilot monitoring calls out radar altitude, airspeed, and sink rate, as appropriate.
4. If flaps are at 100%, ensure a positive rate of climb, and then set flaps to 50%.
5. If gear is down, retract the landing gear after ground clearance is assured.
TAWS Tactical Mode Pull Up Alert Recovery.
When operating in a tactical environment, a climbing recovery may not be practical or desirable. When TAWS is operating in the TACTICAL mode and the obstacle or terrain is clearly visible and can be safely avoided by altering the ground track of the airplane, a turn may be used as an alternate recovery procedure.
WARNING
In TACTICAL mode, the TAWS Warning alert envelope is based on a radius of turn at 45 degrees angle of bank. A
bank angle less than 45 degrees may be used at pilot discretion, while visually ensuring obstacle or terrain avoidance.
Should a TAWS OBST PULL UP or TERRAIN PULL UP alert occur in TACTICAL mode, proceed as follows:
1. Execute the GCAS/TAWS PULL UP Alert Recovery procedure, or
2. Execute an immediate turn, using up to 45 degrees of bank, to establish a ground track that ensures obstacle or terrain avoidance
What is the RA procedure?
a) Flight Mode: As required (PF);
b) CDM: Manoeuvre into HUD TCAS symbology or to TCAS generated PFD V/S commands (PF);
c) Traffic: Identify intruder position (PM);
d) ATC: Report RA as soon as practicable (PM)
When the resolution clears:
e) Flight Path: Resume previous clearance (PF); and
f) ATC: Report RA cleared and return to assigned clearance (PM).
4. ICAO recommended phraseology for TCAS RAs:
a) If an RA is causing departure from the ATC clearance – “(Callsign) TCAS R-A”.
b) When returning to assigned clearance – “(Callsign) CLEAR OF CONFLICT, RETURNING TO (assigned clearance)”.
c) When the assigned ATC clearance has been resumed – “(Callsign) CLEAR OF CONFLICT (assigned clearance) RESUMED”.
d) When an ATC clearance contradictory to the TCAS RA is received, the flight crew will follow the RA and inform ATC directly – “(Callsign) UNABLE, TCAS RA”

ENGINE FIRE SHUTDOWN/APU FIRE/
- FIRE HANDLE PM “PULLED”
WARNING
The agent should be discharged when an indication continues after the FIRE handle has been pulled, or if any other indication or malfunction is suspected that requires fire extinguisher agent. - AGENT PM “DISCHARGED” (IF REQUIRED)
a. If condition persists, wait a minimum of 15 seconds after
the first bottle is discharged, and then discharge the remaining bottle.

Engine shutdown without ACAWS indications
If any of the following conditions are observed, discontinue the start by placing the ENGINE START switch to STOP.
a. No NG within 10 seconds after actuation of the ENGINE START switch to START.
b. No indication of engine oil pressure within 15 seconds of NG rotation or ENG 1 (2, 3, or 4) NO OIL PRESS (C).
c. No indication of propeller gearbox oil pressure within 15 seconds of NP rotation or GBOX 1 (2, 3, or 4) NO OIL PRESS (C).
d. Torching (visible fire in the tailpipe for more than a few seconds), sparks in the exhaust, or excessive smoke.
What indications will cause you to pull the Engine Fire Handle and place engine start switch to stop?
a. ENG 1 (2, 3, or 4) FIRE (W)
b. ENG 1 (2, 3, or 4) MGT HI (W)
c. START VLV 1 (2, 3, or 4) OPEN (W)
d. Visual indications of an engine fire
If MGT rapidly approaches or exceeds 807 °C, pull the respective FIRE handle and place the ENGINE START switch to STOP before the ACAWS ENG 1 (2, 3, or 4) MGT HI (W) or the HOT START 1 (2, 3, or 4) (C) occurs.
What are the PM actions on “Malfunction” during drop?
“Manual, red light, Flap 50%”
