Ultimate reality in Christianity:
Adherents within the Roman Catholic tradition are devoted to the belief in a monotheistic God that is triune in nature, consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whereby each of the three persons coexist in unity but are three distinct persons. The concept of a God made up of three divine persons is commonly known as the Holy Trinity.
The Nature and Purpose of Human Life in Christianity:
The Christian view is that human person is created in the image and likeness of God and has been blessed with a soul which gives capacity to make ethical choices and to be co-creators with God.
The Meaning of Suffering in Christianity:
In the CCT, the question regarding suffering focuses on what the individual does with their suffering. Sin is the cause of suffering.
Death and the Afterlife in Christianity:
Death is not the end. It is simply the death of our body, not our soul. Christians believe that there is life after death.
The Relationship Between Ultimate Reality and Humanity in Christianity:
Refers to the belief that humanity must strive to build a better relationship with God. The old covenant that was broken millions of years ago in which original sin came into existence can be used to represent the spiritual relationship between humanity and God; therefore, the relationship between humanity and God is broken.
The Relationship Between Humans in Christianity:
Catholics are expected to live as a community and have relationships based on love and respect whilst living in harmony with others.
The Relationship Between Human Life and the Rest of the Natural World in Christianity:
Belief that humanity are stewards and not masters of the earth and therefore are called to care for the earth and its resources in order to bring creation to fulfillment in respect of God’s gift of life.
