Statements that can either assertor deny the combination of two o more ideas.

Directly asserts or denies something
Whaat is a hypothetical proposition?
Indirectly asserts or denies something

What is an E PROPOSITION?
Universal Negative E “No S are P”
What is an I PROPOSITION?
Particular Affirmative (Some S are P)
What is an O proposition?
Particular Negative O “Some S are not P”
What does a DISTRIBUTED PROPOSITION mean?
It means that all members of that class.
What does an UNDISTRIBUTED PROPOSITION mean?
Not all members of that class/ some members of that class.

Proposition A

A mutually exclusive proposition, proposition E.

It’s the subject of the CONCLUSION, is hereby the SUBJECT of the argument.
What is a Major Term (Predicate)?
It is always included in your major premise.

It is the term not mentioned in your conclusion.
What consists of your MAJOR PREMISE(1)?
Middle Term + Major Term
What consists of your Minor Premise?
Minor Term + Middle Term
What consists of your CONCLUSION?
Subject + Predicate
